ProFuturo has partnered with UNESCO-CFIT, under the umbrella of the Global Teacher Campus, to carry out a Teacher Training Project in 5 African countries: Liberia, Togo, Namibia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia. The goal is to train around 150 trainers/facilitators on topics such as Educational Innovation, Teacher’s Role, 21st-century education, Classroom Management, Lesson Planning, Motivation, Verification of Learning, Digital resources (Image, Audio, Video…), Digital Assessment, or Project-Based Learning.
The facilitators will be trained and mentored by ProFuturo specialist trainers using innovative methodologies and the ProFuturo Digital Platform (LMS), and it is expected that ProFuturo will donate the digital resources to the countries so that they can continue using them for future teacher training. This initiative is partially funded by the UNESCO-CFIT Fund, while ProFuturo provides the expertise, methodologies, contents and carries out the training and mentoring of facilitators.
